A quick note to the children and families of Room 28
Welcome to the 2011 year
Jenni Jamieson and Robyn McConnell are delighted to have a Year 6 class with your child in it.
We have started our Blog for the year and for those of you who are able to we would love you to follow the happenings in our room. We appreciate there are some children who do not have permission for their image to be displayed and will adhere to this. If however you have now decided to allow your child to have his/her photograph on the Blog please send a signed note so the school data base can be updated.

Stationery 2011
No doubt you are starting to think about purchasing your stationery for the start of the school year.
As you organise your stationery you might like to consider having a pencil case to keep your daily essential items in.
We want you to have in your pencil case
As you organise your stationery you might like to consider having a pencil case to keep your daily essential items in.
We want you to have in your pencil case
- 2 pencils
- 2 highlighters
- scissors
- rubber
- glue stick
- red pen
- blue pen
- pencil sharpener
- ruler (we don't expect that to fit in your pencil case)
- whiteboard marker
Please label all these items - including your pencil case.
The extra items also need to be labelled and will be stored at school until you need replacements.
Put your name in pencil on the inside of all your books so you can identify which are yours - we will be creating colour coded labels for each book. If you are covering your books please do this before you bring them all to school.
Put the fastener sets in your folders.
Bring all these items to school in a plastic bag.

Back to School
School commences for 2011 on Tuesday 1 February. We look forward to welcoming a new group of students to Room 28.
We will try and regularly update the Blog as a form of communication with both parents and children. It is a great way to show you what we are doing at school and a way for you to provide feedback to us.
